Originally released exclusively for smokers in the Dominican Republic, the La Aurora ADN Dominicano is now available in the United States. Meaning “Dominican DNA,” the blend highlights the rare Andullo tobacco leaf, aged using a traditional Dominican method unlike standard fermentation. Instead of aging in large pilones, Andullo leaves are packed into palm seed pods called yaguas and rotated throughout the process, giving the cigar a distinctly Dominican character.

A rustic Dominican wrapper covers a Cameroonian binder and a complex filler blend of Andullo, Nicaraguan, Dominican Cibao, and Pennsylvania tobaccos. The result is a medium to full-bodied smoke layered with notes of cinnamon, spice, cherry, toast, fruit, and black pepper. From its unique aging process to the Dominican flag on the band, La Aurora created a cigar that proudly celebrates the spirit and heritage of the Dominican Republic.
