The La Palina Goldie is a legendary ultra-premium cigar named after Goldie Drell, the wife of company founder Sam Paley. Produced in Miami’s Little Havana, the Goldie became famous for its exceptional craftsmanship and extremely limited production. For many years it was rolled exclusively by master torcedora Maria Sierra, one of the first women trained to roll Cuban cigars in Havana.
The blend’s rarity is heightened by the use of Medio Tiempo leaves—found in only a small percentage of tobacco plants—and its elegant Cuban-style fan-tailed cap. Rich, refined flavors of nut, spice, cedar, and earth mingle with creamy sweetness for a remarkably balanced smoke. Widely regarded as a super-premium, highly collectible cigar, the Goldie remains one of the most sought-after releases for serious enthusiasts.
