Cuba Aliados is a brand created by the famed Rolando Reyes, a historic master blender who made his name in Danli, Honduras. In 2022, the owners of Oliva purchased the name, and aim to bring Cuba Aliados back to its adoring fans. The Original Blend, despite the name, is not a recreation of the original Cuba Aliados, but a Honduran puro made by none other than the esteemed Eiroa family using their incredible tobacco.
The wrapper, binder, and fillers of this cigar all hail from Honduras. The wrapper leaf is a beautiful light brown, and each cigar is made with the same quality we’ve come to expect from the Eiroa’s. The cigar oozes notes of soft pepper, baking spices, dark fruit, and earthiness typical of fine Honduran tobacco. Oliva and the Eiroa’s have paid amazing homage to Rolando Reyes’ vision, and you owe it to yourself to try a Cuba Aliados for yourself.
