The artisans of the El Credito Factory set out to highlight a rare tobacco leaf with Medio Tiempo, delivering another fine example of their masterful blending techniques. La Gloria Cubana Medio Tiempo is named for the Medio Tiempo leaves of a bold, sungrown Connecticutt Havano tobacco plant. This rare tobacco leaf occurs when two leaves sprout above the plant's highest priming, allowing the tobacco to capture the lion's share of sunlight, nutrients and taste characteristics. This is identified by its stand-out brownish-black color in the foot of the cigar. La Gloria Cubana Medio Tiempo consists of hand-selected Honduran, Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos, a Connecticut Broadleaf binder, and a rich Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper that merge to create a medium-bodied cigar that’s layered with rich notes of leather, coffee, nuts and butter.
